We had a wonderful time at the pier yesterday, helping the vets fish. Thank you Capt. Nick for putting that on, it was good to see them enjoying themselves outside, and that redfish catch really made their day.
Just call us up whenever you do anything else like this again, we'll be glad to come out and help.
    Thanks!

I know my dad sent some already, but those were from his phone, lol. And it's a good thing I got my fishing license, because after we pulled it in, Dad and I both were asked to show them

    Ken (Saturday, 21 August 2010 18:31)

Well my daughter Becky moved in Last Sunday. I bought a 15 1/2 ft flat bottomed canoe/kayak Friday. It has a trolling motor. We trolled for 3 hours in the Indian river and the battery still had lots left. Found Big trout, schools of ladyfish and even saw some Tarpon. Becky even caught a HUGE sailcat on a mirro lure out in the MIDDLE of the river. It was crashing mullet with a school of ladyfish. I guess we wont be down to the inlet much. Nice and mellow and dont have to worry about elbow room. And I know where the fish hide. Cant wait to hit up some canals

    Erik_sharkbait (Saturday, 01 May 2010 22:22)

Hey Eric from VT , Nick whated me to let you know his mouse for his computer died and he will be working on the roads at Disney world. So i'm not sure if he will be able to get the tackle you need for these sharks .I can tell you tho a long large (brand name ARC) de-hooker will do the trick for your catch and release fishing . Not sure when your going fishing so you and Nick might get in contact before you go and by then he should have a mouse soon. Any ways good luck and have a great time !!! Erik Webmaster

Hello capt' Nick. As you know i am headed to ambergris caye, Belize this week for 3 weeks of flats, reef & blue water fishing. I need a couple shark rigs w/ circle rigs for sharks in the 200# range. My understanding is that you can help me aquire the terminal tackle that i need to catch these sharks without harming them as they will be released immediatley. I am in need of large circle hooks (please tell me what size will be best) with 4 ft of wire and 10 ft of 200# mono shock leader. Also, any tips you have for removing the hooks after landing the fish to keep them safe, and my hands safe from the business end of these butiful creatures would be so helpful.

-A statement by Don Wixon, President, Florida Legends Outfitters, is as follows: I can remember coming to the Sebastian area in the late 60s and clamming, oystering and fishing as a child. We used to catch today's legal trout off the Sebastian Inlet dock (Mel Fisher docked his boat at the Sebastian Inlet dock, the north jetty side with the old bait shop had the baby rattlers in a crab trap & the old green bathrooms were under the north bridge side) with just an Eagle Claw 1/0 Gold Hook-no bait. The clams just off of the A1A road stretch were as plentiful as the coquina rock (white rock) used to form and hold the A1A road together today. The oysters located in the river were pleantiful. In fact, we used to wade along some of these areas with a shucking knife and eat the clams and oysters fresh, at the immediate picking while wading. Well, that's all gone because of abuse and pollution, amongst some other negative factors. We lost all of this because of the lack of associations like Coastal Conservation Association, and lack of regulations from the State of Florida. Because of concerns raised today by associations like CCA we may have the opportunity to save the future. Today, I have a 7-year-old son, and I hear people like Capt. Nick Price of Fischmore Productions ask questions like "do you want these (fishing) resources made available to our children and our children's children?" Well, I most definitely want these resources to be here, because I know most of what I saw and experienced is gone. My Strong vote is to say please join CCA today. We need these associations to ensure we have today's resources for tomorrow and future generations. Thank you, Don Wixon

Captain Nick and all his crew are FANTISTIC!!
They came out to our Cub Scout Christmas in the woods to teach the boys about fishing. Then we wnet to the Sebastian Inlet to fish.. WOW what fun one of the boys caught a 30lb Red.. Later that same night some of the leaders and a few of the older boys went Shark fishing and they caught a 200 lb SHARK!!!
Captain Nick did a fishing pole lesson for our pack last month. WOW the boys all learned how to repair fishing poles and when we were finished the boys got to keep the poles...
Captain nick is passing on what he knows about fishing to the future fishermen
    Thank You,

Nick, great site. I'm very proud you for what you are doing up there teaching the kids to fish. If anyone who gets the chance to fish with Nick, I promise if you listen he will teach you a thing or two. He is the best fisherman I have ever met. I also lived in the Keys for most of my life and was taught by Nick. I guess that's the benefits of being his younger Brother! Keep up the good work Nick!
